10.04.050 Engine compression brakes.

It is unlawful for the operator of any motor vehicle equipped with a Jacobs Engine Brake or other similar engine compression brake to apply and use the same within the city limits of the city of Aberdeen, except in case of an emergency caused by the failure of the ordinary braking system of the vehicle, when the use of the brake is necessary in order to avoid accidents.
Prior to the adoption of 6331 on 08/28/2002, Section 10.04.050 read as follows.
The operator of any vehicle shall not make any U-turn on State Street at the intersection of "K" Street. Signs shall be erected and maintained designating this provision. (Prior code § 9.02.160)
