The purpose of the R-M district is to provide for residential neighborhoods with a mix of multi-family residences in areas where the available or planned public facilities are adequate for the allowed density. The area contains provisions to ensure that adequate public facilities and amenities are provided and to designate the major public parks, schools and semi-public uses which currently exist or are proposed. The area also contains requirements to increase compatibility between this area and the single-family residential area.
