Chapters 296-46A, B, and C, except subsections (10), (11), (12), (13), (14), and (15) of Section 256-46B-906, of the Washington Administrative Code, and the codes and standards adopted by reference therein, are adopted by reference as the electrical and telecommunications code of the city, subject to the provisions of this chapter. A copy of each code adopted by reference in WAC 296-46B-010 shall be maintained at City Hall for use and examination by the public.

Prior to the adoption of 6482 on 04/22/2009, Section 15.36.010 read as follows.

Chapter 296-46B of the Washington Administrative Code, and the codes and standards adopted by reference therein, are adopted by reference as the electrical and telecommunications code of the city, subject to the provisions of this chapter and the following modification: Aluminum or steel flexible conduit as defined in the National Electrical Code, Article 350, shall be prohibited for all outside, damp, or wet locations. A copy of each code adopted by reference in WAC 296-46B-010 shall be maintained at City Hall for use and examination by the public.

Prior to the adoption of 6363 on 07/28/2004, Section 15.36.010 read as follows.

Chapter 296-46A of the Washington Administrative Code, and the codes and standards adopted by reference therein, are adopted by reference as the electrical and telecommunications code of the city, subject to the provisions of this chapter and the following modification: Aluminum or steel flexible conduit as defined in the National Electrical Code, Article 350, shall be prohibited for all outside, damp, or wet locations. A copy of each code adopted by reference in WAC 296-46A-090 shall be placed on file in the office of the finance director for public inspection and use.

Prior to the adoption of 6287 on 05/02/2001, Section 15.36.010 read as follows.

The 1999 Edition of the National Electrical Code as adopted by the National Fire Protection Association and Washington Administrative Code Chapter 296-46, as now or hereafter amended, a copy being on file in the office of the finance director of the city of Aberdeen, are adopted by reference as the electrical code of the city of Aberdeen subject to the provisions and modifications contained in this chapter with deletions and amendments as follows:

A. Except WAC 296-46-495(4);

B. Except WAC 296-401; and

C. Aluminum or steel flexible conduit as defined in the National Electrical Code, Article 350, shall be prohibited for all outside, damp, or wet locations.

Prior to the adoption of Ord. 6215 on 05/12/1999, Section 15.36.010 read as follows.

The 1996 1999 Edition of the National Electrical Code as adopted by the National Fire Protection Association and Washington Administrative Code Chapter 296-46, as now or hereafter amended, a copy being on file in the office of the finance director of the city of Aberdeen, are adopted by reference as the electrical code of the city of Aberdeen subject to the provisions and modifications contained in this chapter with deletions and amendments as follows:

A. Except WAC 296-46-495(4);

B. Except WAC 296-401; and

C. Aluminum or steel flexible conduit as defined in the National Electrical Code, Article 350, shall be prohibited for all outside, damp, or wet locations.
