A. Building Code Violations. Any person violating any of the provisions of the building code as herein adopted by reference is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by imprisonment in the city jail for not more than ninety (90) days or both such fine and imprisonment.
