The following days shall be considered legal holidays:

1. January 1st (New Year's Day);

2. The third Monday of January (Martin Luther King's Birthday);

3. The third Monday of February (Presidents' Day);

4. The last Monday of May (Memorial Day);

5. July 4th (Independence Day);

6. The first Monday in September (Labor Day);

7. November 11th (Veterans Day);

8. The fourth Thursday in November (Thanksgiving Day);

9. The day immediately following Thanksgiving Day;

10. December 25th (Christmas Day).

Whenever any legal holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be considered a legal holiday. Whenever a legal holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be considered a legal holiday.
