The purpose of the C-R district is to provide the opportunity for appropriate types of professional, commercial and multi-family residential development on the major highway routes through Aberdeen while enabling the continuation of existing residential uses. Because of the opportunities provided by the state highways and transit service, a wide range of uses are allowed within the area. Provisions are included to improve compatibility between the wide-range of uses allowed by this zoning district.
