The purpose of this chapter is to standardize and regulate the removal of trees and vegetation for the reasons set forth in Section 12.48.020. The city of Aberdeen shall, to the maximum extent practical, protect and retain existing vegetation and pervious land cover within city limits. The provisions of this chapter shall be carried out pursuant to Chapters 13.70 and 14.14.
