Applicants shall apply for a city business license at least two weeks prior to commencing business activity. The director shall make all applications available to the chief of police, building inspector, fire chief, and other city departments for investigation. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ascertain the regulations enforced by the various city departments and to comply therewith. The issuance of a business license by the director in no way warrants that the applicant has complied with the requirements and regulations enforced by other city departments.
