The mayor and finance director are authorized and directed to enter into the contract, as authorized by law with the Department of Revenue of the state of Washington for the administration of the sales tax and optional sales tax authorized by this chapter, and are instructed to comply with and apportion the proceeds of the optional tax as provided by RCW Chapter 82.14.
