2.96.010 Office hours of municipal offices.
The Finance Department shall be open for the transaction of business from 8:00 a.m., until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. All other Departments shall maintain regular office hours as aproved by the Mayor. Nothing in this provision shall be interpreted as prohibiting routine closures between the hours of noon and 1:00 p.m. and temporary closures authorized by the Mayor due to emergencies, staff shortages, or other unanticipated circumstances
Prior to the adoption of 6433 on 02/28/2007, Section 2.96.010 read as follows.
All elective and appointive officers of the city of Aberdeen shall keep their offices open for the transaction of business from 8:00 a.m., until 5:00 p.m. of each business day except Saturday. The provisions of this section shall not apply to the office of mayor or to the police and fire departments. (Prior code § 1.72.010)
