The commission shall consist of nine members; the mayor of the city of Aberdeen, who shall be the chairman, the chief of police, city attorney, the chief of the fire department, the street superintendent, a representative of the school district, a representative of the regional comprehensive health planning, the development coordinator, and the traffic engineer.
