Detached accessory buildings shall comply with all yard and lot coverage requirements for the zone in which they are located provided:

A. Accessory buildings shall only be constructed concurrently with, or subsequent to, the dwelling or building housing the primary use.

B. No accessory building shall be located in a vision clearance triangle.

C. No detached accessory building shall be larger than 900 square feet or fifty percent (50%) of the living area of the primary residence, whichever is greater, to a maximum of 1,200 square feet.

D. No standard of this section shall be construed to permit maximum lot coverage standards to be exceeded.

Prior to the adoption of 6521 on 10/26/2011, Section 17.56.120 read as follows.
