No person, firm or corporation shall do any electrical wiring in the city or cause the same to be done without first obtaining a separate electrical permit for each separate electrical project, building or structure. The person, firm or corporation shall provide the city all information necessary for issuance of said permit. If work authorized by a permit is not started within one hundred eighty (180) days or is suspended or abandoned at any time for a period of one hundred eighty (180) days, the permit is null and void and before work can be started or recommenced, a new permit shall be obtained and one-half (1/2) of the permit fee paid. No electrical permit shall be required for “like-in-kind” replacement as defined by WAC 296-46B-100 and as excepted by WAC 296-46B-901(8).

Prior to the adoption of 6482 on 04/22/2009, Section 15.36.090 read as follows.
