15.32.010 Adoption of code.
The 2018 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) as adopted by Chapter 51-56 WAC, with Appendices A, B and I, but excluding Chapters 12 and 14 of the UPC, which is not adopted, and including the requirements relating to venting and combustion air of fuel fired appliances in Chapter 5 of the UPC and those portions of the UPC addressing building sewers, is hereby adopted by reference as the official plumbing code of the city of Aberdeen. One (1) copy of the 2018 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code shall be maintained at City Hall for use and examination by the public.
Prior to the adoption of 6544 on 06/12/2013, Section 15.32.010 read as follows.
The 2009 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, including all appendices, except Chapters 12, 16, the requirements relating to venting and combustion air of fuel fired appliances in Chapter 5, and those portions of the code addressing building sewers, is hereby adopted by reference as the official plumbing code of the City of Aberdeen with the additions, deletions, and exceptions in this chapter. One copy of the 2009 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code shall be maintained at City Hall for use and examination by the public.

The 1997 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical officials, one copy which is now on file in the office of the finance director of the city of Aberdeen, is adopted by reference as the official plumbing code of the city of Aberdeen.
