Whenever a side sewer is to be located on property other than the property being served, the owner or owners of the side sewer shall secure a written easement on an appropriate form, covering and granting the right to occupy such property for such purpose. The written easement shall be recorded by the owner in the office of the county auditor and a copy of same shall be furnished to the city prior to issuance of a permit.
