Any person, persons, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100.00) or by imprisonment in the city jail not exceeding thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
